Weekly Market Outlook:
Pfäffikon SZ – The U.S. economy is gaining momentum, even though there are some doubts by critics, as always. For example, the investments made by some companies are lagging behind, but this is certainly not the case for the companies in which we invest. A number of companies in our portfolio will report their quarterly results next week. In addition, the investors’ eyes will be on ECB President Mario Draghi. We expect that Draghi will not do much, because there are signs that the European economy is already recovering, even if this is only a fragile development.

Ukraine will undoubtedly continue to concern investors. Another concern is the interest rate, which was increased last Friday. Short-term investors are terrified by the idea of rising interest rates. We have often stated that the interest rate may become a temporary spoilsport on the global stock markets. When this will happen, no one knows. This is all the more reason, therefore, to continue to follow interest rate developments.
